FALL YIN WORKSHOP / meditate and move


align your body, mind, and spirit with the seasonal rhythms of nature and transition into fall on Sunday, October 14 from 10am-noon.

as the days get shorter and the temperatures cooler, autumn invites us to take stock of the things in our life, let go of the old, and make room for the new. in this two hour workshop, we will explore a yin sequence built to harmonize the nervous system and optimize the flow of prana/chi in the body. the organs associated with the fall are the lungs and the large intestine.

yin yoga targets the connective tissues, such as the ligaments, bones, and even the joints of the body that normally are not exercised very much in a more active style of asana practice. suitable for almost all levels of students, yin is a perfect complement to the any active, strengthening workout.

we will be holding each pose from 3-5 minutes in order to clear energetic blockages, improve circulation, and unlock the joints. this meditative practice will honor reconnection to our highest self, as well as provide grounding and insight into the new season ahead. as we surrender to change, we also let go of that which no longer serves us harvest our blessings.

class will include a 20 minute guided meditation.
